Indian Vegetarian Food

Cooking Teacher: Shobha Shankarnarayan –a vegetarian home cook who has been cooking (and learning!) for more than 13 years. She has always been surrounded by great cooks in her family, reads cookbooks to relax and watches cookery programs with her children.
Detailed description of class:
This class will teach you how to make 2 varieties of Indian ﬂatbread, 2 varieties of ﬂavourful seasoned rice, 2 curries and 2 healthy Indian salads, with an introduction to spices and helpful tips to make Indian cooking easier.
Menu for class:
Lesson one: Chapati (Unleaved ﬂatbread), Coconut Rice, Kadala curry (Chickpea curry ﬂavoured with coconut milk) , Kochsalli (a cooling made with cucumber and yogurt, seasoned lightly with spices)
Lesson two: Aloo Paratha (Flatbread stuffed with spicy potato ﬁlling) , Jeera Rice (Cumin ﬂavoured rice), Paneer Masala (Cottage cheese with gravy), Kachumber ( Mixed vegetable salad with seasoning).
